Our History

About us:

The Kansas Orchid Society (KOS) was formed in 1959 and maintains affiliation with the American Orchid Society (AOS) , South West Regional Growers Association (SWROGA) and Orchid Digest. Several members are Judges and regularly participate in the judging of orchids at the Great Plains Judging Center.

Each year KOS has an Orchid Show in November. Orchid enthusists from throughout the United States enter their displays for judging and vendors bring a variety of orchid plants for public sales.

Keep members informed of current and future KOS activities and orchid-related events both nationally and internationally.

Share information and educate those interested in the culture of orchids.
